Chevelyns Care Foundation building a Women Development Centre

Chevelyns Care Foundation on Saturday 11th January, 2020, took the first step towards building a Women Development Centre in Mgbowo, Awgu L.G.A Enugu State-Nigeria..

The event which took place at the temporary site, Chevelyns Close, Dam Road Ezioha Mgbowo was honoured by the Igwe of the two Mgbowo Autonomous Community, HRH Engineer John Azubuike Ibe KSJI (Ohabuenyi ii of Ekpulambo), HRH Igwe Gregory Ituma, KSJI (Onyima II of Ekpulato Mgbowo Autonomous Community). Also in attendance was the Chairman, Igwe Council, and Onyendu Ndigbo in Lagos State, HRH Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu,

The Commissioner for Gender, Enugu State, Mrs Peace Nnaji promised a close collaboration between her Ministry and Chevelyns Care Foundation.

The Commissioner for Science and Technology, Sir Obinna Kama pledged his commitment towards the actualization of the Chevelyns Women Development Centre. Mgbowo.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State,, Mr. Humphrey Onyima commended Chevelyns Care Foundation for coming up with such a wonderful program aimed at ameliorating the suffering of Women by focusing on such other alternatives like skill acquisition that has the potential of empowering Women for poverty alleviation and self-sustainability.

The President of the Nigeria Community in Spain, Mr. Emmanuel Ani who Chaired the occasion, commended the founder of Chevelyns Care Foundation who is also the President of the Nigerian National Association-The Netherlands, Chief Lady Evelyn Azih for her noble initiative capable of creating self-employment for the Women as well as building a stronger economy, and achieving internationally agreed goals for development.
